Welcome to Kindergarten!
We have been very busy this month! We have finished up Me Museum. It was a lot of fun getting to know everyone. We have had visitors in to share their knowledge with us. Corey the Dribbler showed us his basketball skills and told us how important it is to pay attention and so your best in school. Officer Higgins talked about Halloween safety. We will be safe when we trick or treat! Ms. Rosen, our guidance counselor helped us understand her role and how she can help us. She recently returned to present a lesson on "safe hands." We promised to do our best to keep our hands to ourselves. The fire fighters were visiting to teach us how to stay safe and prevent fires. It was fun to see the fire truck up close and even get to go inside it! Our Halloween parade was so much fun! It was wonderful to have so many families watching us. Later in the afternoon, we had a great party! A few students commented that it was the best day of school ever! Thank you so much to the parents who assisted dressing the students and our two awesome party planners!
